Welcome to the TOOLVS Submission Center.
Our mission is to build the world’s leading community for hands-on AI and SaaS tools reviews and decision-making. Here, we connect the creators of innovative software with technical writers who test tools on the front lines. Whether you are an indie hacker or startup team that just launched a new tool, or an experienced practitioner with hard-earned testing insights to share, we warmly welcome your contributions.
Please select the appropriate submission track below and review our guidelines:
Track 1: Tool Submissions (For Software Builders)
If you are a founder, builder, or core team member behind an AI application, automation tool, or SaaS product, submit your product to get listed in our directory, enter our review pipeline, and reach high-intent technical adopters.
1. What You Get
- Dedicated Product Directory Page: Once approved, your tool will be added to the TOOLVS database with a standalone profile and benchmark landing page.
- High-Quality Standard Outbound Link: We provide a clean, direct outbound link to your official domain within your product overview, helping establish search visibility.
- Community Exposure & Early Adopters: Top-performing tools are prioritized for coverage in our New Tools hub, featured as recommended picks in Tool VS (head-to-head comparisons) and Tool Alt (alternatives directory), and shared across our official social channels (such as X and Reddit).
2. Eligibility & Review Criteria
- Product Readiness: Your tool must be in a publicly accessible Beta or live production state. We do not accept non-functional landing pages or conceptual mockups.
- Security & Compliance: Your product must have clear Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documentation, and be free of malicious code, deceptive dark patterns, or compliance violations.
- Free Inclusion Standard: Directory evaluation is free of charge. To ensure comprehensive testing, submissions that provide free testing credits, sandbox accounts, or API access receive priority review scheduling.
3. Submission Format & Process
Email your pitch to our editorial desk: contact@toolvs.org
- Subject Line:

Track 2: Contributor Program (For Technical Writers)
If you have hands-on experience, edge-case testing data, or deep tool-selection insights for any software product, pitch your teardown to our publication.
1. Accepted Article Types
We accept long-form, hands-on reviews matching our four core hubs:
- Best Tools (Curated Role & Scenario Roundups): Data-driven evaluations ranking multiple tools built for specific disciplines (e.g., developers, designers, growth marketers) or dedicated operational workflows.
- Tool VS (Head-to-Head Showdowns): Direct showdowns between two competing products in the same vertical, measuring benchmark speeds, hidden fees, execution boundaries, and output quality.
- Tool Alt (Alternatives Directories): Practical breakdowns of cost-effective, open-source, or friction-free alternatives to expensive, waitlisted, or proprietary software.
- Tool Guide (Implementation & Onboarding Walkthroughs): Step-by-step technical guides walking readers through setup workflows, production architectures, and common pitfalls to avoid.
2. Contributor Rewards
- Author Bylaw & Portfolio Visibility: Your article will be published across our core hubs with a dedicated author bio and profile credentials.
- Outbound Links & Monetization Rights:
- Leverage Toolvs.org’s Organic Reach: Put your technical expertise in front of targeted technical buyers and practitioners worldwide.
- Contextual Backlinks: Include 1 to 2 contextual outbound links pointing to your personal engineering blog, GitHub profile, or portfolio site.
- Affiliate Monetization: Embed your own affiliate referral links within the teardown to monetize downstream traffic directly.
3. Editorial Standards (Non-Negotiable)
To maintain search authority and community trust, all submissions must follow these guidelines:
- 100% Original & Platform-Exclusive: Content must be entirely authored by you with full intellectual property rights. Syndicated, recycled, or cross-posted content published anywhere else on the web will be rejected.
- No Shallow AI Fillers: AI writing assistants may be used for grammar polishing, but the evaluation must be anchored in reproducible testing logs, UI screenshots, latency/cost data, or practical prompt/code setups. Generic marketing summaries will be declined immediately.
- Uncompromising Objectivity: Even if you embed personal affiliate links, you must transparently document product bugs, limitations, and billing traps. Downplaying software defects to drive commissions violates our core guidelines.
4. How to Pitch
Email your proposal or draft to: contact@toolvs.org

- Turnaround Time: Our technical desk reviews incoming pitches within 3 to 5 business days and follows up via email.
